Bejewled...
So, Haddi loves loves loves to play dress up, especially with mommy's jewelry box. It has this convenient little ledge for when the playing tires her out and she needs to sit down. Here she is doing something she isn't supposed to do - putting on mommy's necklaces! She is wearing one as a head band (a-la Olivia Newton John from the 80s) and one as an actual necklace. The dress is actually a nightgown. I discovered this after putting her in the cute dress, making a BIG deal about how cute she looked (to which she replies....I look beautiful.....) only to be told by my dear husband when we arrived to meet him at the restaurant for dinner, that he purchased it in the Old Navy sleepwear department. Oh well - she loves it now, so there's no going back. Maybe the jewelry dresses it up enough for 'evening wear'.

Haddi is the best Princess ever. This past weekend we had a family dinner. After dinner, Haddi's mom set up "decorate your own cupcakes" for dessert. Haddi sat with her very artistically gifted Auntie, whom she absolutely adores, and frosted the cupcake. Haddi then stuck about 10 candles in the cupcake, looked up at her mom, and said, "Mom, it's so beautiful." Then she said, "Mom, it's for you. Happy Birthday." It was so precious that I nearly burst into tears. She's a real cutie pie.
