Aloha Oy!

Haddis' Uncle Martin recently returned from a trip to Hawaii with a bright pink Ukelele for her. She calls it her "special pink guitar". She uses it to play her new song (an original composition) called "I Never Got My Secret Back." She makes up the funniest songs and hey - pretty deep for 3 years old!

Hiding in the cupboard

Haddi has a new favorite spot at the store. In one of the paper storage cupboards, she's discovered that if she empties out the contents, she fits inside perfectly. She giggles and giggles thinking this is so funny. Then, she left me a note on the outside of the door so I would know where to find her. She tells me it says "Mom, I'm hiding in the cupboard. Come find me." New version of Hide-n-Seek! (Hide N Seek for Dummies I guess...)

Two specks flying a kite

Ok - the one larger red speck is Patrick and the smalle speck to the right is Haddi. They are flying a new kite and having a ball - ok, so the picture is bad but the sentiment is there!

Haddi and the HOTwing

So, we're at Buffalo Wild Wings (which I have never understood why it's called BW3 - where's the 3rd W?) and Haddi is eating her very first hot wing with concentration usually only reserved for Dora the Explorer and nose-picking. She loved it and proclaimed it "so yummy, but a little spicy". The kid loves chicken, what can we say...

Future Business Tycoon?

Grandma Alix was over recently and Haddi decided to give her a "lesson" on how to use her palm pilot phone. See Haddi has the stylus in her hand and is "fixing Grandma's phone". At 3, she thinks she knows it all...remember those days?

Watering the plants

Haddi's new favorite pasttime is watering our plants in the front yard. She operates the hose nozzle all by herself and has THE most fun!

Out of the Mouths of Babes

Yes, we're looking like we've had our hand caught in the cookie jar here - Haddi is in the bath (obviously) and drinking the bathwater ("gross says her father) and spitting it out against the wall. Hmmm....

Ten Four Good Buddy - What's your 20?

Haddi and Daddy are here at the ESPN Zone restaurant which, of course, is fun for the young and the not so young. Daddy loves to drive the "big rig" semi truck on the semi truck video game, so here he is on the "open road" with his sidekick on the right working the CB. Too cute!
